Allen L. Dave Jr.
National Board Certified Funeral Director and Cremation Specialist Allen L. Dave, Jr. graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services in 2003 with high honors and received Todd W. Van Beck President's Award in Funeral Service Management and the Most Impressive Performance Student Award.
Allen completed the educational programs of International Cemetery Cremation Funeral Association (ICCFA) hosted at the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis. In 2003, College of Sales & Marketing, 2004 College of Funeral Home Management, 2005 College of Cremation Services and 2006 College of Cemetery Administration and Management. Allen graduated as class valedictorian in 2006 and continued completing the master's program in 2007 and became a Certified Crematory Administrator and Certified Crematory Counselor. In 2008, he attended the College of 21st Century Services and In-Sight Institute Funeral Celebrant Training becoming a certified celebrant. In 2009, he completed the College of Cemetery & Land Management and 2010 he accomplished final academic requirements in death care education the C.E.O. program. He joined the educational staff becoming a professor at ICCFA University. He has lectured in the celebrant program and currently in the ICCFA University's International Studies College.
Allen Dave served as Allied Industry Chairman from 2009-2011, appointed Secretary of the Board of Directors of ICCFA under President Mark Krause and was elected to the board of directors twice from 2011-2016.
In 2010, Allen Dave formed a company, Deathcare Management & Financial Group, LLC., to manage funeral homes in Texas. Bob Lomison of Letum, Inc. offered Allen his first management contract in Central Texas. In 2014, Allen joined the senior management team of Letum, Inc. as vice-president of the funeral home division and in 2015, vice-president of Letum, Inc.
Death care leading professional association (ICCFA) honored and awarded Allen with his certification accreditation as a Certified Funeral Executive at their 2014 national convention. This is the highest honor recognized by his peers and the national association.
In addition, in 2014 Allen became a Texas Certified Crematory Operator and is a Louisiana and Texas life insurance agent, served his second term on the ICCFA Board of Directors expired 2016 and a featured speaker across the country. In January 2016, Allen Dave received his approval from the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers & Funeral Directors to practice in the State of Louisiana.
Louisiana Cremation Service, Inc., a subsidiary of Letum Inc. was formed and acquired Winnfield Holding Corporation February 29, 2016. Allen Dave, named president of the company. Winnfield Holding Company consist of three funeral homes and a cemetery. Allen Dave has the unique opportunity of owning, operating and managing funeral homes, cemeteries and crematories in Louisiana and Texas consisting of 10 funeral homes, 7 cemeteries and 2 crematories. Allen Dave plan to continue expanding in acquisitions of other funeral homes to enhance their brands and continue building their legacy.
He is one of few funeral directors in the nation who completed this level of death care management education. Therefore, he strongly believes he is of great value to consumers and the death care industry. He promises to conduct business at the highest level of professional standards at all times.
He and his wife Micca have three children; Barrington, Jasmine, Alexandria and all are in college at this time.

State of Louisiana licensed Funeral Director and ICCFA certified Cremation Specialist, Heidi Hickman started in the funeral industry as an office manager. Through her hard work and strong work ethic, she was promoted through the company and relocated from Killeen, Texas to Shreveport, Louisiana. She is currently attending Amarillo College mortuary science program, and previously attended Central Texas College which allowed her to finish the State of Louisiana Internship program for Funeral Directing. Ms. Hickman is also a licensed Celebrant, Cremation Administrator, Cremation Arranger, Crematory Operator, licensed insurance agent in both Louisiana and Texas, and an ICCFA scholarship winner for the Wide World of Sales 2017. She has worked with several organizations to include Bravo Company 589 Brigade Support Battalion at Ft. Hood, Texas, Eastern Star, Rotary and her church family to provide education on the importance of pre-planning and investing. She strongly believes that the role of a funeral director is to educate the family and allow them to make decisions based upon their religious beliefs, traditions and financial means. She believes this allows her to be able to serve every family, every option every time! Heidi is originally from Maine and relocated to Texas in 2009. Heidi has three children; Khaari, Derrion & Olyvia and resides in Shreveport.
Funeral Director & Embalmer
Rachel Dwyer is a Funeral Director at Heritage Funeral Home and Killeen Funeral Home in Harker Heights and Killeen, TX. She grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania, before attending Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. While at Saint Vincent's she also minored in History and Religious Studies. She continued her education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where she was elected as her Class Representative. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and head of her class in September 2009. Rachel was the recipient of the Joseph D Moon Education Grant and was given the Mu Sigma Alpha Award from the National Association of Colleges of Mortuary Science and was inducted into their National Honor Society.
After accepting a position with Forest Park Funeral Home, Rachel moved to Shreveport in late 2010. In October of 2012, Rachel moved to Texas and took the Funeral Director position at Heritage and Killeen Funeral Homes. She is enjoying her new cities and is looking forward to helping her clients honor the lives of their loved ones.
Daphane came to us in November of 2015 as an: On-Call, Service Assistant. Within only a few months, she was promoted to the Lead Service Assistant that held training and staffing responsibilities amongst the other on-call staff. Knowing a good thing when they saw it, management wished to retain Daphane’s services on a full-time basis and promoted her to Administrative Assistant.
After graduating high school from Bossier City Parkway High, Daphane then went onto procure her Medical Assistant Degree at American Commercial College, graduating in the top 10 in her class, and on the Dean’s Honor List. After starting out her career in Healthcare, at an Obstetrician’s Office, she enriched her medical knowledge by entering Home-Health Care. It was during this period she initially began considering the possibility of entering the funeral industry.
Daphane is native to the Shreveport-Bossier community and was born and raised in Bossier City, LA, now residing Haughton, LA with her husband, William and their two children Landen and Autumn.
Deborah Joan Martin born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, graduated from Woodlawn High School, studied at LSU, and Bossier Community College where she majored in business.
Deborah has worked for Dr. James Smith in Psychiatry at LSU University in Shreveport for Seven years and also worked in Texarkana, Arkansas for Dr. Ronald Rush as assistant and office manager for five years.
Deborah received many awards and honors for having a successful woman owned business in Northwest Louisiana for over 20 years, DustBusters Janitorial Service. She proudly served in ministry in various towns teaching youth and children drama and music.
She has been a house parent to over 20 neglected and abused boys at Watersprings Ranch in Texarkana Arkansas. Now a widow, she feels called in life to serve others with commitment, compassion, and kindness. Deborah feels that she has been honored and blessed to be able to serve in that capacity at Forest Park Funeral Home! She is proud to be a part of a highly professional and outstanding team of people!
Kelly Geary is originally from Tyler, Texas. Her family owned several funeral homes and cemeteries in East Texas and Tennessee. Kelly married and moved to Marshall, Texas and was a stay at home mom to her children and foster children. Her husband, Dr. David Geary, passed away in 2011. Kelly came to work at Forest Park Cemetery as a Family Service Counselor with the desire to help families in need.
