Melissa Garza, a bilingual funeral counselor in charge of Family Services arranges the details of the service in order to best honor the individual who has passed.

Melissa is a past manager of Pleasant Mound Cemetery in Dallas, and a long time resident of the community. She has been with Troy Suggs Funeral Home for over a decade.

James is a fourth generation owner/operator of the Suggs family funeral home, and great nephew to Troy & Billie Suggs.

James is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, class of 1999.

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, James has been apart of Troy Suggs Funeral Home all of his life.

Tom Ellis

Tom Ellis


One of the original founders of the TGMHF, leader of the Ellis Family Gospel singing group for over 25 years, past President of the Southern Gospel Music Association, and current Chairman of the Board for the SGMA of Texas. Tom and Marie Ellis are the publishers of the "voice" of the SGMA: the Texas Gospel Music News, a bimonthly news

Tom has been associated with the Suggs family since 1963, and became a full time employee in 1990.

Originally from San Angelo, TX,
Jim Richardson is a graduate of the
Dallas Institute-Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science class of 1965.

Also a graduate of East Field College class of 1972 with an Associates Art degree.

Jim is a funeral director and licensed prearranged funeral counselor.

Jim started working for Troy Suggs Funeral Home in 1990.
