The current staff at Martin Funeral Home has a combined 99 years of experience in funeral service. Our goal is to earn your confidence by exceeding your expectations. Roger Martin

Director

Roger was born in Waukon in 1923. He graduated from Waukon High School and attended Waukon Jr. College and Iowa State University. After serving in the Army in WWII, mostly in California and Missouri, he graduated from the University of New Mexico. He returned to Waukon where he was Allamakee County Auditor for a time. Later he attend the College of Mortuary Science in St. Louis, MO and then returned again to join Martin Brothers in 1957.
He and his wife Arlene (Bakke) have 3 children, Dave, Mary Jo and Sarah. He enjoys golf, playing cards, travel and recreational gaming.

I was born in Waukon in 1953. After graduating from Waukon High School and Oklahoma State University I attended the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, TX, and returned to join the firm in 1976. My wife Laurie (Weighner) and I have 3 children, Valerie, Greta and Roger. Golf, travel and tinkering on a small acreage in Ludlow fills most of my free time.

I was born in 1964 in New Hampton, IA, and graduated from New Hampton High School in 1982. After attending NIACC in Mason City, I received my funeral service training at Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL. Following that I worked for a time in New Hampton, Cresco and Waterloo before moving to Waukon and joining Martin Funeral Home in 1999. My wife Barb and I have 2 girls, Meredith & Jaedyn. I enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting and following the Iowa State Cyclones.

I am from Dorchester, IA, and I graduated from Waukon High School in 2005. After receiving my BS degree in biology from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, I graduated from the mortuary science program at DMACC in Ankeny. Before moving back to Waukon, I worked in Britt, IA, and Waukesha, WI. I currently reside with my betta fish Bane and chinchilla Evie Banana. My hobbies include: reading, watching movies, taking pictures, traveling, and enjoying pop culture.
