SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI: Tammy Elaine Raue, age 52, passed away at 6:50 pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her home following an illness.
Tammy was born August 16, 1966 in Oswego, KS. Her parents were Henry Brandt and Shirley Ann (Wilson) Bell Sr. She had lived in Springfield since July 4, 2014, moving from Columbus, KS.
She grew up on the family farm near Chetopa, KS and graduated from Columbus High School with the Class of 1984. She worked at Labette Avenue Newspaper, Oswego, KS form 1998 – 2014.
She was an accomplished singer and pianist. She had served as church pianist with the Chetopa Assembly of God. She was currently a member of Evangel Temple, Springfield, MO where she was a member of the choir. She was a seamstress and a cake decorator. Tammy was Past President of the Gideon Auxiliary, Cherokee County Camp.
Tammy was married to Nick Raue on May 23, 2014 in Branson, MO. He survives.
Additional survivors include her parents, Henry and Shirley Bell, Chetopa,; 2 sons, Mark David Guinn and Marek Paul Guinn, both of the home; 3 daughters, Shantel Annette Scott (husband, Alexander), Springfield, Sharla Laine Guinn, Milwaukee, WI, and Shayla Elaine Guinn, Miami, OK; one brother, Craig Stephen Bell (wife, Kathy), Miami; one sister, Sherry Laine Conner, Chetopa; and 4 grandchildren, Kyus Layne Eulitt, Trinity Nicole Morgan, Lillian Scarlett Kidd, and Olivia Rose Scott.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Henry “Sonny” Bell Jr.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 17, 2018 at Center Christian Church, Columbus, KS. Tom Goettel will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Chetopa, KS.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 -4:00 pm, Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Columbus, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International in care of the funeral home.
