Quintin Breyon Leflore was born July 26, 1982 in Flint, Michigan to Quintin Leflore and Johanna Massey. Breyon attended Carman Ainsworth High School. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at New Salem Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. He resided in Charlotte, North Carolina—a place he truly loved—and spent his career working as an electrician and contractor for special projects.
Breyon’s smile and laughter lit up every room he entered. He had a huge heart and generous spirit. He was fiercely independent and wasn’t swayed by what was popular. Breyon set trends, he never followed them. Breyon took special pride in his appearance and never stepped outside without a crisp, ironed shirt and freshly cleaned shoes (because his mom, Jo, didn’t play that!).

Breyon LOVED his family deeply and he especially loved being a father to his baby girls, Lyric and Aubrey. Breyon was an active father and on any given day could be found combing hair, cooking dinner, putting together toys or reading bedtime stories. They were the light of his life and his motivation. They were his world.

Breyon also took his roles as son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend very seriously. He saw himself as everyone’s protector and no matter where he was or how much time had passed by, he was always just a phone call away.

Breyon loved dancing in the living room with his Granny Ruth, listening to Tupac and Snoop Dogg. He was always down for a road trip. He made the world’s BEST slice and bake cookies. He was a jokester and master storyteller. He was the keeper of so many secrets and always told the truth with love, even when it was hard.

Breyon was so many things to so many people, and for this reason he will forever be loved and cherished.

Breyon joins his mother, Johanna Massey, in Heaven. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Lyric Allums (mother, Lashana Allums) and Aubrey Leflore (mother, Audrey Taylor); father, Quintin (Cerise) Leflore of Flint, Michigan; stepfather, Calvin Massey of Grand Blanc, Michigan; sisters, Keionnie (Adrian) Owens of Douglasville, Georgia, Paris Henderson and Tori Henderson of Flint, Michigan, Ashli Myles of St. Louis, Missouri; brothers, Quintin LaRon (Brooke) Berry of Canton, Georgia, Darryl (Makenta) Roberts and Dominic Leflore of Flint, Michigan; Grandparents, George and Ruth Swims of Flint, Michigan and Clinton and Rogerine Leflore of Grand Blanc, Michigan; nieces, Zoé Henderson, Keyuana Roberts and Gabrielle Roberts; nephews, Braxton Owens, Alexander Owens, Kaiden Clark, London Berry, Lennox Berry, Devion Roberts, Noah Roberts and Darryl Roberts; and a host of family, special friends and loved ones.

The family would like to express special thanks to Rev. Reginald Flynn, First Lady Delores Flynn and the entire Foss Avenue Baptist Church family; and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
