Jan Lynn Dias Anderson, beautiful Daughter, Sister and Aunt, age 61, a resident of Winfield, passed away on April 28, 2020. She was born February 13, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and spent her life in Florida and Winfield, Illinois.
Jan was a devout Christian who spent her life dedicated to ministering about and serving God. Jan loved volunteering at Hesed House, a homeless shelter in her area, as well as local animal shelters, she had a very giving heart. Jan enjoyed studying the Bible, going to and volunteering at her church as well as debating religion and politics with anyone who enjoyed an intelligent, deep conversation. Jan loved to have a good time, she LOVED Music and loved to dance to Madonna, her all-time favorite artist, and she always brought the laughs and fun to the Party. Jan loved her church family, fast cars, loud music, animals, her family, friends and, above all God.
Jan is at peace and happy to be home with her Lord and Savior, where we know she is dancing and singing even louder than she did here on Earth and I can hear her telling me to remind us all, "Life’s Short, Don’t forget to Dance".
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…
Romans 8:38, 39
“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow --- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below --- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.”
Jan Lynn is survived by her mother, Sandra Long Dias Anderson; her Brother Marc (with a C) William Dias Anderson, her Sister Robin Anderson and her Nephew Baby Mark.
May God Bless Mommy, Daddy, Jan, Marc, Robin, Baby Mark and everyone we love , forever and always Amen
