Hubert "Crick" Johnson of Flint, Michigan

December 19, 1934 - May 21, 2019

JOHNSON, Mr. Hubert E. "Crick" -age 84, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, May 29, 2019 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy. Flint, MI 48507.  Elder Virgil Stocker officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm - 6:00pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel. The final resting place for Mr. Johnson will be Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.

Mr. Hubert E. "Crick" Johnson was born December 19, 1934 in Flint, Michigan the son of Emma Belle and John M. Johnson.  He was a lifelong resident of Flint and attended Flint Public schools.  Hubert was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and later enlisted in the United States Army to serve our country.  He was employed with General Motors, retiring from Buick a division of General Motors. "Crick" was married to Harristeen Caywood for many years and they enjoyed family gatherings, shopping, casino outings, playing cards and watching westerns.  Hubert touched many lives and will truly be missed. 

Mr. Hubert E. "Crick" Johnson leaves to cherish his memory: step-son, Quinton Caywood; brother, Jesse (Daisy) Johnson of Flint, MI; a host of nieces nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Diane Johnson of Grand Blanc, MI; brother-in-law, Marzellous Wilson of Columbus, OH; a host of other relatives and friends, including caregivers, niece, Janice Backstrom and nephews, Brent Williams and James K. Luckado.

Mr. Hubert E. "Crick" Johnson was preceded in death by: parents, Emma Belle and John M. Johnson; loving wife, Harristeen Johnson; sisters, Catherine (James) Luckado, Nadine MacIntosh, Elgene Wilson; brothers, John and Wilbert Johnson; nephews, Mark A. Johnson, Fines Luckado and Leonardo Watkins.
