Helen L. (Delmont) Kropp, 76, of Carterville, MO gained her heavenly wings on November 13, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 28, 1942 the daughter of John O. Delmont Sr. and Edith (Pitcher) Delmont in Columbus, KS.
Helen was married to Joseph E. Kropp for 25 years. They enjoyed traveling and became over the road truck drivers for many years. She was very proud of the fact that she could get her CDL to assist with the driving. She worked at Safeway Bakery for over 20 years prior to driving the truck. Helen loved and enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren, thrift stores, her beautiful flowers and plants. Her smile and positive attitude touched many people throughout her lifetime – no one was a stranger.
Helen is survived by her husband, Joseph of Carterville. Five children: Ron (Elna) Myers, Kimberly Smith, Topeka, Timothy Myers, Columbus, Jerry Myers, Columbus, Robert (Summer) Myers, Columbus. Four step children: Ed (Karen) Kropp, Carl Junction, Paul (Erin) Kropp, Joplin, Mary Haas, Carl Junction, Debbie (John) Faulkner, LaQuinta, CA. Six siblings: John O. (Ruth) Delmont Jr., Colleen Cresap, Carol Chrisenberry, Jerry (Vernona) Delmont, Larry (Lawanda) Delmont, Ricky Delmont.
Cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
