Frank's Obituary

Frank B. Kupchunas, Jr., 73, of Hudson passed away on Wednesday July 29th, 2020 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua after a period of declining health. He was the widower of the late Kathleen (Andruskevich) Kupchunas who died in February 2019 after 41 years of marriage.

He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on October 7th, 1946 to the late Alice (Sakovich) and Frank B. Kupchunas, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Hudson, graduating from Alvirne High School in 1964. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana and received his MBA from Rivier University.

Frank was an Electrical Engineer and Product Manager before his retirement. Frank enjoyed collecting clocks. He loved spending summers at the family camp at Center Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee for 24 years, where he could often be found on his sailboat. Frank enjoyed keeping the Lithuanian traditions for the family, especially making certain that there was kielbasi at family gatherings and being the “first” family judge of the annual Lithuanian Easter Egg fights. He also enjoyed listening and dancing to Lithuanian polkas.

Frank was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Nashua and the former St. Casimir Church for many years.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his two daughters and their husbands, Kara and Garrett Nadeau of Hudson and Kristen and Charles “Chip” Norris, III of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Ashley and Addison Nadeau, and Alanna and Carter Norris; a sister and her husband, Mary and James Nute of Gilford, along with four nieces and nephews, Alan Nute and his wife Brandi, Pam Beard and her husband Chris, Mike Nute, and Debbie McDermott and her husband Mike, and great nieces, great nephews and many cousins.

Per the families wishes, services for Frank will be held privately.
