David passed away, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at St Luke’s Hospital of The Woodlands, TX.
David was born to George and Nora May Sisney in Oklahoma and came to Texas at a very young age. He built a business in Houston, TX beginning with only a bumper jack and $40 worth of hand tools. Through years of hard work and honest practice he established Sisney’s Exxon and Auto Repair, a very successful business for over 20 years. During the 1970’s he also operated the #1 U-Haul Dealership in the United States in Colorado Springs. David was a Master Mechanic who taught his sons well. He was one who could listen to a car engine over the phone and tell you exactly what was wrong and how to fix it which he did for many without pay but a simple care to help others. With his heartfelt relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, he exemplified a Lion Hearted Lamb mentality. He’s been known to help the poor and weak, but also known to stand up against the largest evildoer without hesitation and win. He was truly an example among men.
David is preceded in death by his Daughters Judy Keown, Brenda Andrews, and Son George Sisney all of the Houston, TX area.
He is survived by his Wife of 41 years, Norma Marie Ellis Sisney of Conroe, TX, Son and Daughter in law Dale and Sandy Sisney of New Caney, TX, Son and Daughter in law Richard and Leah Sisney of New Caney, TX, Daughter and Son in law Brenda Denise and Butch Cain of Houston, TX, Son and Daughter in law JD and Linda Andrews of New Waverly, TX, Son and Daughter in law Keith and Laurie Andrews of Lead Hill, Arkansas.
