Dale A. Ebling, 93, of Hershey, passed away on July 24, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.
For 66 years, the devoted husband of his wife, Elvira (Arcudi) Ebling; also survived by his son and his wife, Thomas and Gayané Ebling; his daughter and her husband Pamela and Daniel Berman; grandchildren: Alexander, Maritza, Andrew, Carolyn, and Lauren; and a great grandson Theodore.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Carol.
He was born October 18, 1926 in Myerstown, youngest of nine children of the late William and Carrie (Wenrich) Ebling.
Mr. Ebling was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He graduated from Drew University with a B.A and Columbia University with an M.A. in Industrial Engineering. His career included working for Hershey Chocolate Company as an Industrial Engineer, serving as the Personnel Director for the Polyclinic Hospital, and as a financial analyst for the Milton Hershey School.
He was a proud resident of Hershey who enjoyed showing guests the highlights of the town and explaining its history. He was also incredibly handy, single handedly constructing the living quarters of the home in which he and Elvira raised their children.
Private interment will take place in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
