Charles “Chuck” Teeslink 82 of rural Iroquois, SD and formally of Wessington Springs passed away Monday June 15th at his residence. A public memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday June 25th at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Wessington Springs.

Charles (Chuck) Teeslink was born May 2, 1938, to Harry and Evelyn (Ford) Teeslink. Chuck joined the United States Army from 1960-1965. He was then united in marriage to Lila (Barber). They were blessed with three children, Paula, Sara, and Tyler. Chuck worked most of his life doing what he loved, farming and ranching. He took pride in his work. He was the most happy sitting behind the wheel of a tractor.

Chuck united in marriage with Judy Gamber after the passing of his first wife. Along with this marriage he gained two stepchildren Kristina and Dustin.

Chuck will always be remembered for his smile that could light up a room and for the way he could tell stories in such detail. He seemed to know someone no matter what county he was in. He had a way about him that seemed to leave a lasting impression on anyone he come into contact with. But what he loved the most were his kids and grandkids. They all meant the world to him.

Chuck was survived by his two daughters and one son. Paula Guinn of Chamberlain, SD; and her children Dillon Schuh, Desarae Schuh and great granddaughter Kenzley, Caycee Guinn, Taryn Guinn, and Daulton Guinn. Sara Teeslink of Pukwana, SD; and her children Chance Kiehn, Kordel Kiehn, Rafe Kiehn, Lindy Kiehn, and Reata Kiehn. Tyler Teeslink (Heather) of Huron, SD: their children Jaidyn and Teague Teeslink. A step daughter Kristina Teeslink of Sioux Falls, SD: and her children Kadesia, Jaylin, Athena, Saretta and Trevino. Also a stepson Dustin Teeslink: and great granddaughter Alyse.
