Bill W. Kilgore, 86 of Paris, passed away, Friday, January 25, 2019 at Harry S. Truman Veteran’s Hospital in Columbia.
Bill was born on May 22, 1932 in Moberly, the son of Lowry H. and Jenny E. Frazier Kilgore. He married Diana Blakley on October 5, 1984 in Hannibal and she survives at home. Other survivors include his children; David (Sharon) Kilgore, Kenneth (Vickie) Kilgore, Janet (Glenn) Morris, Mark (Brenda) Kilgore, Cheryl (Tim) Vestal, Sherlyn (Her Significant Other – Melanie), Jenny Sapp and Kevin (Stephanie) Vaughn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; Jerold (Mary) Kilgore, Wahlan (Bonnie) Kilgore, Gahlan Kilgore, Sharon Anderson, Junior (Barb) Kilgore, Ducky (Maurice) Kilgore and Karen (Ray) Mason. He was preceded in death by one son, Leonard Kilgore, one brother and two sisters.
Bill was a member of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Before retiring, Bill worked for the Norfork Southern Railroad for 25 years and was a member of NARV. He, was, also a member of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Agnew Funeral Home with Dan Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
