Gerald J. Fraleigh, Sr. 76 of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.
Gerald was born in Rhinebeck, NY and was the son of the late Augustus and Helen Fraleigh. He was a graduate of Rhinebeck Central High School. He was retired from YRC Worldwide, Inc., in 2008. He was a member of Capital Bible Church and a life member of the NRA. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the US Army.
Gerald is survived by his daughters, Nichole (Kristian) Meyer of Harrisburg and Lisa (Walter) Copen of Yelm, WA; his sons, Gerald Fraleigh, Jr. of Annville and Chad Fraleigh of Rainier, WA; his grandchildren, Elli, Brady and Teddy; his brother, Bruce Fraleigh of Rhinebeck, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at the Capital Bible Church, 7900 Capital Dr, Harrisburg. Pastor Bill Haken will be officiating. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with Full Military Honors.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. at the church, prior to the service.
