Ms. Fredericka Mobley was affectionately known as “Reka” was born January 30, 1970 to the union Earnest Portee and Flora and Flora Wilson.
Reka was a member of Brown Memorial. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and loved the lord. Reka enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She loved her grandchildren and listening to music especially at family gatherings.
Reka was preceded in death by her loving parents Flora and Melvin Wilson and her grandparents Rosa and Frank Mobley.
Reka leaves behind to celebrate her legacy her father, Earnest (Janice) Portee of Sebring, FL.; her daughters, Tyiesha (Christopher) Bryant and Tamara West ; her sons, Samuel (Aszia) Culbreath and Ra-shawn Harris; grandchildren, Tyris Bryant, Curtis Bryant, Xavier Slaughter, Al’bria Brown, and Aiden Culbreath; siblings, Valedia Mobley of Tampa, FL., Shondra Crenshaw of Lake Placid, FL., Vondaill Massaline of Avon Park, FL., Rashauna Johnson of Winter Haven, FL., John (Melvin) Blake of Atlanta, GA., Tez (Amargo) Portee of Atlanta, GA., Earnest Portee III of Sebring, FL., and Travise Portee of Sebring, FL.; a devoted and caring cousin, Sheila Marshall of Tampa, FL.; Special aunt, Mary Rollins of Tampa, FL.; very special nephew, Ja’ Marcus Mobley of Tampa, FL.; special friends, Brenda Watson, Leslie Rogers, Kimberly Rogers and Bette Rogers; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday September 18, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to the current CDC restrictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.
