Louden Bretherick, 91, of West Hanover Township, passed away on September 11, 2020 at Homeland Center in Harrisburg. He was born on November 30, 1928 in Colwyn PA, son of the late James and Helen (Lewis) Bretherick.

Louden served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Alaska. He retired after 33 years of service as a tool & die maker from the former TRW, Inc. of Harrisburg. After retiring he enjoyed researching local and family history and raising dahlias. He was a member of Linglestown Life United Methodist Church and Penbrook American Legion Post #730.

Louden is survived by his wife of 67 years, Esther L. (Carl) Bretherick; two sons, Robert N.  and Chris L. both of Harrisburg; daughter, Barbara A. (Bradley) Reed of Annville; Three Grandchildren, Amanda Bretherick, Erika Reed, Alexis Reed.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 from 10am - 11am in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. Due to state mandates the funeral service will be private with burial following in Willow Grove Cemetery in Linglestown.
