A private celebration service will be held for Mr. Devlin Dante Cochran who passed away on September 5, 2020.
Mr. Devlin Dante was born on September 9, 1985 to Darlene Brown and Grover Cochrane Jr. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County until the age 16, he later continued his education in Atlanta, Ga where he graduated from Redan High School in 2004. Delvin (Boss as he was
affectionately called) enjoyed looking fly. He was always “swaged” out. Boss enjoyed hanging out with family and his close friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and betting on his favorite sports teams, most specifically the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which was his favorite team.
Devlin was preceded in death by maternal great-great grandmother, Catherine Brown; maternal great grandmother, Willie-Mae Stroman; maternal grandmother, Elouise Emmons; maternal grandfather, Leroy Brown- Emmons; paternal grandmother, Lillie Cochrane; paternal grandfather, Grover Cochrane Sr.; uncles, George Lewis, Alphonso Williams, Lucious Williams; cousins, Tameka Wallace, Michael Morrell, Jr. and Wali Clanton Jr.
He leaves to cherish loving memories with his mother, Darlene Brown; father, Grover Cochrane Jr; devoted girlfriend, Charmaine Lee; children, Nasir Cochran, Delvin Cochran Jr., Dylon Cochran; stepson, Mekhi White; sisters, Tear Harris, Dominique Harris, Latisha Logan, Shanita Bryant; brothers, Garland Cochrane, Grover Cochrane; 3 rd , uncles, Tyran Brown (Carmi), Hebert Emmons (Ebony), Ralph Hawkins; aunts, State Representative Dianne Hart, Geraldine Emmons, Catherine Allen, Edwina Fields, Cynthia Cochrane; nieces, Anyan Reeves, Dariyon Bibbins; nephews, Kree Sheggog, Cincere Preston, Charles Fowler, Caiden Bush, Carter Jones; godmother, Deborah Hayes; god sisters, Brittany Richards, Whitney Richards, Sydney Richards; best friend, Jeffrey Bush; special friends, Commisyon Wells, Marthann Wells, Sebrena Washington, and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday September 18, 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home 3000 N. 29 th Street, Tampa, Florida. Due to the current CDC restrictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.
