On May 1, 1928, Annie Pearl (Hightower) Sellers was born in Johnson County, Wrightsville, Georgia, to the parentage of Frank Macklin and Mattie Hightower. She lived a full joyous life before being called home on August 23, 2020.She moved to Florida in 1942, shortly after that she was united in holy matrimony to Willie T. Sellers. Mrs. Sellers was affectionately known to those closest to her as “Goot”, and the neighborhood kids as Annie P.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by late husband, Willie T. Sellers (1970); two daughters, Dora Hightower (2004), Cynthia Mason (2004), three brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Annie Sellers leaves to carry on her legacy with her five children, Joyce Walker of Tampa, Carolyn Sellers of Tampa, Felecia DeShield of Bermuda, Fredricka Sellers of Atlanta, GA, her only son Willie T. Sellers of Detroit, MI; grandchildren, Kendra Hightower, Mark Wright, Quimaruius Curtis, Cindy Campbell, Camille Curtis, Dayrion Curtis, Carmalita Mason, Martye Gattie, Raymond Bent, Domnique Gadson, Orlarte Bent, Donald Mason, Coquette Frost, Anglique Frost, Brittany Young, Darryl Jordan, Donte’Blair and Desmond Blair. She leaves behind a multitude of great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
