Mr. Jabari Chete’ Lee, known as “Bari, JB, or Jaboy”, of 3715 East Autumn Dr., Dinwiddie, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, December 30, 2014.
He was born January 26, 1979 to the late John C. Lee and Marilynn Lee, in Yuma, AZ. At an early age, he received Christ and joined the Providence Baptist Church, Prince George, where he served as an Usher and was a member of the Cub Scout Pack #902. Jabari was educated in the Prince George County Public School System.
Jabari was a lead supervisor at Metalspan and previously employed at the Progress-Index as a team leader and supervisor. He affectionately loved his Nike Air Jordan Collection, matching his shoes with his favorite fitted caps.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Profit; uncles, Charles Profit, and Gerald Profit; and one great uncle, Leroy Hamilton.
He leaves to cherish in his memories; a loving and devoted wife of 12 years, Raven Phillips Lee; three daughters, Che’tasia, Ja’niyah, and Ariyana; his loving mother, Marilynn Lee; loving sister, Yeside Lee (Sheeda); his maternal grandmother, Ethel Profit; three uncles, Herbert Profit, (Mamie), Darrell Profit, and Kenny Profit; two aunts, Myrtle Cowan, (Clifton), and Gwendolyn Jones; two great uncles, Robert Hamilton, (Jessie), and Kirby Hamilton; one great aunt and Godparents, Barbara Brock (Bernard); mother-in-law, Alease Lewis (Recarlos); father-in-law, William Phillips (Arletha); two sisters-in-law, Tonia Phillips and Julia Phillips; and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7:30pm, Thursday, January 8th, at the Hope Christian Ministries, 5300 West Marshall St., Richmond with the Rev. Dr. Mark Vereen, Pastor, officiating. The interment will be held 11:00am, Friday, January 9th, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Prince George.

A visitation for Mr. Jabari C. Lee will be held Wednesday, January 8th, from 9am to 9pm, at the Chapel of the William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, 137 Harrison St., Petersburg.
