Floyd " Bad Bad " Chianti Davenport, IV
( December 31, 2002 - July 15, 2018 )
Mr. Floyd Chianti Davenport, IV, age 15 and a student at Muskogee Public Schools, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Bethany, Oklahoma.
On December 31, 2002, a handsome baby boy was born to Floyd A. Davenport, III and Cryshana Hill-Davenport. He was the first of three boys born to this union and they named him Floyd Chianti Davenport, IV.
He was a miracle child, born at 1 pound, 10 ounces in Jackson, Mississippi. They said he wasn't going to live past 24 hours, so his grandparents traveled to visit to see him, and upon arrival, he had multiple IV's and tubes and the medical staff expressed that they will not be able to revive him if the tubes were removed. His grandmother, Ramona tried to remove his hand off the IV and she wasn't able to gently remove his hand; he had a strong grip! She stated "Oh, he's going to make it, because he is Bad" and thats how he got the nickname " Bad Bad. "
He started his education at Greenville Public Schools and then continued his education at Muskogee Public Schools. At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized in Greenville, Mississippi. He then became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Muskogee through Christian experience. He loved playing basketball and was looking forward to trying out for the high school football team. He also loved playing video games with his cousins and spending time with family. Although he was here for a short time, he was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Heaven; his maternal great-grandfathers, Blanton Henry Hill, Jr., and Walter Boo Grayson, his paternal great-grandfather, Floyd Davenport, Sr., and his paternal great-grandmothers, Daisy Davenport and Barbara A. White.
Those he leaves to lament his death and cherish his memory are; his parents, Cryshana Hill-Davenport and Floyd A. Davenport; his siblings, Christian and Sincere Davenport; Ri'Niyah Davenport, Naomi Davenport and Toni Davenport; his great-grandmother, Thelmaire Hill; his grandparents, RaMona Hill, Kevin Grayson [Carla], Marvin Vealy and floyd and Yolanda Davenport; and a special "PaPa" Melvin Parker; paternal uncles, Demarcus and Clifton Davenport; maternal aunts and uncles, Crystal Hill [Tee Tee], Gerald McCoy[Ebony], Alisha Payne, Tenika Simmons [Justin] Chinesha Battle, Marchello, Marvez, Marvell Vealy, Eric Payne [Stormy], Keondre Newton, Alan Grayson; along with a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins and his special cousins, Marcellus Crutchfield, Laniya Vealy, Rodrigues White and Allan Hill.
