POLICY REGARDING FUNERAL SERVICE DURING
THIS PANDEMIC EMERGENCY (replaces previous statements)
The management of Southern Funeral Homes are, as always, committed to the safety of the families in the communities we serve.
All funeral services and visitations, whether in one of our funeral homes, a church or any other facility will be limited
to private services with a strict limit of 10 family members or friends.
(The only exception will be if the immediate family, i.e. parents, children, grandchildren, brothers or sisters exceed the limit of 10.)
The virus is mostly spread through gatherings of people in an environment where there is close contact with an infected person. It is recommended that the elderly, anyone with underlying health conditions or compromised immune systems to not go out in social gatherings.
Our funeral home’s business offices re-main closed to the public. However, we will continue to be available for arrangement conferences, pre-need funeral plans, post funeral consultations, cemetery needs or any other services families may require. As always, our staff is available 24 hours a day should families need assistance.
We apologize for any inconvenience but the safety and well being of our communities and the families we serve is top priority.
This is a fluid situation and as things change, we will keep you informed.
