Family Owned-Family Focused

COVID-19: UPDATE - March 30, 2020

Desert Valley Mortuary remains deeply committed to the health and well-being of our community and our guests.

Based on guidance from the CDC and local government officials regarding public gatherings, Desert Valley Mortuary is temporarily limiting all funeral, visitation, and memorialization gatherings in our facility to under 10 people. This includes graveside services as well.

As of Monday, March 16, 2020, the Diocese of Tucson has made the announcement that all Funeral Masses will be restricted to 10 people and the congregation will not receive Holy Communion. This involves all Catholic Churches in Yuma County. Please contact your local parish for any questions.

To assist our community who are an at-risk population (e.g., the elderly, immune-compromised, etc.) or for those wishing to stay home, Desert Valley Mortuary will complete arrangements by phone.

Other precautions that have been set up temporarily are as follows:

Desert Valley Mortuary will continue to serve our families with the same level of excellence, despite these temporary limitations. Please ask to speak to our staff for any questions.
