“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord…”
Revelation 14:13

In Loving Memory of

Brother J.D. (“Boo”) Hill was born November 18, 1972 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Linda Hill (Vivian, Louisiana) and J.D. Roberson (Hobbs, New Mexico). He departed this life on January 5, 2016.

He was a remarkable and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He was a family man and provided greatly and sufficiently for his own and others. He loved sacrificially and was a man of great character, competence and compassion that maintained a glowing personality, a positive and friendly attitude, and possessed a quiet spirit of gentleness and generosity towards others that will forever be remembered. He was loved exceedingly and will be missed exponentially.

He graduated from North Caddo Magnet High School in 1991 and worked several years, initially for Asplundh Tree Experts Co. (Safety Foreman) and lastly Offshore Energy Services Inc. (Swamp Driller).

He confessed Christ later in life and united with the Church of Christ in Oil City, Louisiana in 2002.

Hill will live on in the hearts of his devoted wife: Sharon Lynn Hill; three daughters: Arneka Adger (Cardario), Ambra Hill, and Amanda Hill; an only son: Javonte D.
