Matthew Vereen was born September 9, 1989 to Ms. Irene Vereen and Mr. Willie Henry Gaines.

He was affectionately known as Nukie to family & friends. He received his formal education through the Palm Beach County School District, graduating with Glades Central Community High School Class of 2009.

On November 29, 2016 Nukie was called to his eternal home. He is preceded in death by his Great great grandmother Irene “Granny” Salmon.

Memories of Nukie will be forever cherished by his mother, Irene Vereen; father: Willie Henry Gaines; Stepmother: Tracy Suggs; grandmother: Cora Lee Fields; his brothers: Cedric Dennard, Derek (Crissy)Vereen, Andre Fuller, Marque Vereen, Desmond Vereen and LaVonte Police; sisters: Shameika Dennard, Veronica Fuller, Nykeshia Vereen, Doretha Monae (Charvorris) Roundtree Crystal (Tvories) Stanley, Cassandra Gaines, Naya L. Gaines and Lorraine L. Suggs Gaines; godparents Rugene and Ronald “Skinny” Mcmillan; his godfather: Maurice Lincoln; godsisters: Ronisha McMillan, Renae Lane and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
