To all the family and friends of Jamie Mitchum; My deepest condolences to all of you. I knew Jamie from Macedonia High School way back when. I remember that old Ford Galaxie and the big hair. I was blessed to talk with him and Sandra earlier this year on FB. Glad we became Facebook friends. It was great reconnecting with familiar faces from the old days. I loved following their Adventures by land, by sea and by air. What a zest for life. I don't think two people could ever be more paired for each other. What a wonderful family and what a wonderful life. He will be missed by everyone he knew. My deepest sympathies and prayers to everyone who knew him.

Uncle Joe and I are so sorry for your loss. He was a very interesting person and always flashing that beautiful smile. He will be missed. Uncle Joe is having surgery on his foot tomorrow in Columbus GA, so it wasn’t possible for us to travel to South Carolina. Otherwise we would have been there. We will continue to pray for you all. Love you all.

Jamie was a great man. I met him through the Berkeley County Rescue Squad. I remember him taking me up in his helicopter out in Cross while on a call. I will always cherish that memory and he will be greatly missed.
