I grieve with you in the loss of your mother. No words can express our feelings when we realize that we, ourselves, are becoming the ancestors. My condolences to your siblings and to Raylene and Garrett.

If you knew Bainard Cowan at LSU, here is a connection. Mom was assistant to the dean when Bainard was a student and his parents were professors at University of Dallas. Mom told me he visited our home once with a student group. Small world. I worked my first real job at the same time in the dish room of the cafeteria.
