Rest in Peace Uncle Bill. Misty and I are without words. The world has lost one of the great ones. I am not close to many in the family, but I know how he meant the world to everyone and how much he loved you all. Talking to him over the past couple years from time to time about mom, he would always keep us updated about everyone in PA as would Betty. Our hearts go out to all of you.

I can’t believe I’m seeing this. I thought you were invincible and going to live to 110! Pap, you were so strong for so many people. You were the backbone of this family! My life will never be the same without you. I love you! Rest In Peace

Bill was a remarkable man. He was devoted to his family, loyal, and available to literally anyone who needed help. In these days in our society, one of the highest compliments you can give a man is the most simple thing to say and powerful when it’s said in earnest: “He’s a good man.” Bill Hughes was a good man. He raised children who were as committed to him as he was to them. He modeled clearly what it means to love and care for your family and provide for them.
I’m sure he will hear his Lord’s voice say “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
My sincere sympathy to all of his family. I know he will be missed sorely.
Love, Nana
