Plan a Funeral : Cremation Packages

The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation.

You are in no way limited to these service options. You may itemize services in order to select only those which are right for you.

Direct Cremation $1,895.00
Cremation with out a service or viewing.
Pre-Plan Online or Make Arrangements
The charge for a Direct Cremation consist of the following; Conference with the family for death certificate information and signatures for the cremation authorization. Notification of Social Security and completion of any Veteran Benefit Forms and filing of any Life Insurance Claims. Removal of the deceased and transfer to the funeral home within 45 miles. Transfer of the deceased to the crematory and the return of the ashes in a temporary container. All Permits and Authorizations in Denton County. (Collin, Dallas and Tarrant Counties have a $25.00 fee for Cremation Permits.) The charge from the crematory is $350.00, this is included in our charge for a Direct Cremation.

If the Crematory requires a cremation container, our charge for a cremation container is $ 40.00, this will be added to the cost of the Direct Cremation.

Services of Funeral Director,Staff & Overhead:$1285.00

For arrangement and supervision of all details of the cremation and memorial service, administrative services, general clerical work, bookkeeping, preparation of the Death Certificate and all allied forms. This fee for our basic services and unallocated overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.) This charge cannot be declined.

Embalming: $645.00

Except in certain special cases, if any, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other Preparation of the Deceased: $145.00

Cosmetology, restorative art. (If we are required to obtain the services of a Hair Dresser or Barber, an additional charge of $40.00 will be added.)

Facilities, Staff, & Equipment: $285.00

Use of the Facilities and Staff for Viewing/Visitation, Vigil Service or Rosary (Per Two Hours). Use of the Facilities and Staff for Funeral or Memorial Service or Equipment and Staff to conduct a service in a Church, Hall or Similar Facilities or Graveside Services.

Automotive Equipment:

Transfer of deceased to Funeral Home: $165.00

Transfer of deceased to Crematory: $95.00


Crematory Charge: $350.00

Letter of authorization for cremation, charged by medical examiner (Tarrant County-$15.00, Dallas County-$25.00, Denton County-No Charge.

*Newport Hardwood with Removable Interior for Viewing or Service: $510.00

*Alternative Container Cremation Unit: Fiberboard Container with Cremation Pouch: $120.00

Veteran or Spouse Cremation with National Cemetery Service $2,030.00
This Package included a Direct Cremation with placement of the Ashes at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery
Pre-Plan Online or Make Arrangements
This Package is designed for Veterans that wish to have a simple Committal Service at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. It includes the removal of the deceased with in 45 miles of Denton, Refrigeration until Cremation, transportation of the Ashes to the Cemetery. After arrival at the cemetery, we will be escorted by the National Cemetery Representative to the assigned Shelter for Military Honors for the Veteran and an additional 10 minutes for a brief service, OR, for the Veterans Spouse we are allowed 20 minutes for a service. Then the Cemetery Representative will take the Urn or Container for Burial or Placement in the Columbarium.

These arrangements can be made at any National Cemetery for additional transportation and possible staff fees.

This Package does not include an Urn. The Ashes will be received in the container provided by the Crematory.
