Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, we at Scroggs are doing what we can to ensure the safety of our families. Gov. Brian Kemp has banned all social gatherings of more than 1/3 of building capacity (50 people). We at Scroggs will be holding to these restrictions and will keep services and visitations limited. We apologize that these measures have to be taken, but we need to ensure the safety of the public. We have disinfectant on hand and we are spraying hard and soft surfaces. We have plenty of soap to wash your hands. We have hand sanitizer in for use upon entrance. We insist that you use it upon entering the building. Stay 6 feet apart from each other. No hugging, no handshaking. Place all used tissues in the trash cans provided...not on the pews and not on the tables!!..
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19!!!
We offer livestream through Facebook Live.
(With the family's permission)
We are available by phone 24/7. Our office hours are from 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Of course we are here to serve you, so weekend hours are available by appointment to speak to a funeral director, to make arrangements, and conduct services for your loved one.

Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors would like to thank you for trusting our services for the over 60 years!
Many of you in the community know of the passing of Thomas L. Scroggs on June 24, 2014. We not only lost a benevolent funeral director, but we lost a husband, a father, a confidant, a leader and a friend. Thomas’ calling in life was to help families in their darkest times and he accomplished that by not only showing sympathy for the family, but by compassionately leading the family through the funeral process. As our leader he trained each of us to work with the families, who put their trust in us, in the same caring way.
Thomas has gone to his heavenly home, but he has left behind a legacy to be carried on by his wife, children, and trusted staff. Linda Scroggs has been involved in the funeral business for over 50 years and is now continuing to work alongside her son, Kevin, who serves as general manager , her daughter, Keisha, who serves as office manager and her daughter-in-law, Margie who serves as office coordinator, and her granddaughter, Kelsey who is a studying to be a funeral director and embalmer. This funeral home is and will continue to be a family owned establishment.
Kevin has been working in the family business for the past 32 years and has been serving as manager of Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors for the past 10 years.
