During this time of ongoing covid-19 crisis, we at Ermert Funeral Home remain dedicated to serving our families in their time of need. In order to do this, we must heed the advice of government officials and the CDC. As a precaution we are closing our business office to the public for the time being. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these uncertain and difficult times. We are doing our part by balancing the needs of our grieving families with the need to keep our staff and other members of the community safe. If you have a death in your family, we will be available to assist you in every way we can 24 hours a day 7 days a week at 870-857-3596.
A NOTE TO OUR BURIAL ASSOCIATION MEMBERS
We ask that you would forgo personally coming into Ermert Funeral Home to make your membership payment for the time being. Please send your payment by US Mail or use our drop box. There will be NO late fees and your coverage will NOT lapse. We are thinking of the health, safety and well-being of you our valued customer and our staff members. WE HAVE DEVELOPED THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR FUNERALS at ERMERT FUNERAL HOME
For the safety of all those we serve, we at Ermert Funeral Home believe it necessary to follow the guidelines recommended by the CDC, Federal and State Government and the AFDA as such.
All person's entering the Funeral Home MUST wear face coverings. With the exception of children under the age of 10, however, it is strongly suggested that children above the age of 2 also wear face coverings.
The size and capacity of our funeral home allows for up to 50 guests to attend a visitation and/or funeral service in our facility. However Social Distancing per state mandate must be practiced, while family groups are permitted to sit together, all individuals attending will be required to maintain 6-foot distancing from other individuals and family groups, guest will only be allowed to sit in every other row of seating. In addition, while leading the services all officiates will be required to maintain 12-feet distancing from all attendees.
Finally, this unprecedented period is rapidly unfolding and we are diligently working to cooperate with government restrictions to ensure the needs of our families are being met. Our funeral directors and staff are front line, service professionals. Grief does not take a day off and we will be here for you! Your cooperation in this matter is deeply appreciated as we all make necessary sacrifices to protect and care for those we love.
Your family’s health and safety is very important to us. With that being said we are taking additional precautions to clean and sanitize our facility and ask that you come in by appointment only. We are here to answer any questions you have and we are available for funeral arrangements.
