Somersworth-Arnold “Joseph” Jr., 51 of Somersworth NH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday February 4th 2016.

He was born March 1st, 1964 the son of Arnold J. Sr. and Barbara (Thomas) Brown in Ipswich MA.

Arnold worked for many years at Prime Tanning until its closing. Then he began a new career in flooring with one of his closest friends.

Joe married the love of his life Paulette (Corey) Brown on November 28th 1987. They resided in Somersworth NH with their daughter Jennifer. Joe would go on to share his many passions; shooting pool, playing poker, dirt bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles and most importantly jet skiing, with his daughter so she can continue on with his legacy.

Joe was a kind and gentle soul, he always had a smile on his face and was willing to help a friend and give the shirt off his back if you needed it.

He is survived by his loving wife Paulette Brown and daughter Jennifer and husband Matthew Day of Rollinsford; along with his grandchildren Morgan Lee and Matthew Joseph Day. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Thomas Brown and sister Tracy Brown along with his brothers Walter and Kevin Brown. He is also survived by an Uncle Skip and his wife Ginny Thomas and an Aunt Pat and her husband Wayne Barrett, and several other aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Joe had several close friends that were like brothers to him for many years; Pete Jacobs, Mark Gagne, Jim Coburn, Lee Hanson, Adam Roberts and Bob Hanson

Anyone that knew Joe knew his love of the water and jet skis. “Home is where the waves are”

Calling hours will be held at Tasker Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10th 2016 from 4-7 pm, located at 621 Central Ave, Dover NH 03820.

Following the visiting hours, friends and family are invited to the home of Jen Day, 29 Pine St., Rollinsford for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
