Viola K. Ouradnik, 96, of Hinckley, formerly of Willow River and Pine City, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Elderwood of Hinckley.  She was born August 16, 1920 in St. Paul to Andrew and Annette (Larson) Dockan.  Viola moved to Willow River when she was 9.  She graduated from Willow River High School.  Viola was united in marriage to Frank Ouradnik on December 13, 1969 in St. Paul.  Viola worked at Degree of Honor Insurance of St. Paul and later worked for the Department of Transportation until retiring to Pine City with her husband.  Viola enjoyed crafts of all kinds and traveling with her husband.  Viola especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and loved them dearly.

Viola is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; 2 brothers, Andrew Dockan, Jr. and George Dockan; 2 sisters, Judith Stepan and Edna Price.

Viola is survived by 1 daughter, Karen (Don) Nelson of Sturgeon Lake; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Shirley Christensen; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, from 5-7 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  A Requiem Mass of the Dead and Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 AM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake with Father Thomas Mroczka as the celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Willow River.
