Michael ("Mike") Garth Fronk was born on December 17th 1963, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed his journey here on earth on April 20, 2015 due to health complications. He was 51 years old. Mike attended high school at Hillcrest High, where he was a star football athlete and ski club president. He then married Heather Soule and they started their 30-year long journey full of children and adventures together. He served in the Air National Guard for four years early on in their marriage. Mike loved to run his own business and was in the carpet industry for 20 plus years. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and relaxing at his cabin. He passed his passion for anything outdoors onto all of his children. He had a huge heart and was always finding ways to serve and go out of his way to help others. Service was one of the great joys of his life. The kind of man who would literally give you the shirt off his own back. He was very giving of his time and talents, which were many, including being able to fix just about anything you could imagine and inventing and creating with his hands. He also had a funny sense of humor and would even go as far as occasionally dressing up and giving others a good laugh. He was a light to those who knew him. He is survived by his seven children Tiffany, Blake, Briana, Milan, Bailey, Mckenzie, and Gabriel; his former wife Heather; his parents Garth and Carolyn; and his siblings Garret, Paula, and Angie. Services will be held April 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West Riverton, Utah 84065. There will be a viewing that same morning starting at 9:30 AM. He will be buried in the Sandy City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a charitable fund with Volunteers of America for those wishing to donate. link below.
