Celebration of life services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, at Holly Hill-Roberts Middle School, 530 Hesseman Avenue, Holly Hill, South Carolina. Pastor Michael Charley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Word of Faith Christian Center Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Quiet, humble, obedient, smart, intelligent, and witty are just some of the adjectives to describe Tamara Alexia Almeshia “TeTe” Perry. Tamara was born in Charleston County on February 27, 2001 to Alexis Diane Perry and Christopher Wright. She departed this life on July 15,2015, along with her sister, Shamekia Sanders. She inherited a rich legacy of faith, family, and character. Tamara was an very ambitious young lady.
She attended Robert E. Howard Middle School and participated in many organizations: Gear Up Program, Honor Student, Robert E. Howard Middle Choir. While at Elloree Elementary School, she served as a cheerleader. Tamara has received many awards for her academic excellence.
Her lifelong dream was to attend Howard University and become a pediatrician. Tamara had very high expectations.
She attended Word of Faith Christian Church and was a member of the Exodus Choir.
Tamara was a strong and righteous young lady who was taught the values of honesty, truth, compassion, perseverance and the importance of keeping a spiritual focus. She had a smile that would light up any room.
Tamara leaves a legacy of love to her parents: Alexis Diane Perry and Christopher Wright; sisters, Anealyiah Collier, and Nevaeh Wright; brothers: Nasir Washington, Terion Jackson, Don Collier, Jr., Dreamzz Nelson, and Braylan Wright; grandparents: Mary Louise Perry, Herbert (Linda) Gilliard, Jeanette Wright and Allen Adgerson; spiritual God-mother and God-father, Evangelist Margaret Guess and Rev. Willie Ravenell; special cousins, Zaniya Elmore, Nathan Bemon, Samuel Mitchell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins , other relatives and many friends
