Naomi H Jackson,91, of West Chester, PA. and Venice, FL. died peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July 6,1927 to Carl and Carrie(Sharp) Hauerbach. She grew up in Maplewood, NJ and attended Columbia High School. In 1949 she graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in nutritional science. She married Fritz Robert Jackson (Bud) on March 25, 1950. They had three children and resided in Valley Forge, PA. In 1961, she and Bud started a business called The Vested Gentress. It was a print based line known for its whimsical hand screened fabrics.
Naomi was a lover of Frank Sinatra, J&B scotch, Venice sunsets, the jitterbug and being with the people she loved. She always saw the glass as half full and lit up the room with her contagious smile and zest for life. “Wherever you go, no matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine”, that was Naomi. She brought happiness and light to everyone lucky enough to know her.
Her joy and love for life were felt by everyone that she touched. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and found beauty in things that most take for granted. The world was undoubtedly a better place with her here.
Geezal mapeezal... she was well loved by many and will be sorely missed especially by her family.
