Joseph J. Pasky, 73, of Shenzhen, China, formerly of Shrewsbury and Clinton, died unexpectedly on November 18, 2018, after a brief illness. Joe was born in Clinton to Joseph T. and Margaret (Murphy) Pasky.
He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, Summa Cum Laude, in 1974. He lived and worked in China for the past 14 years, founding Cathay American, which provided technical and fine color printing services. Joe was an intellectual and an expert in the field of printing fine art books. He traveled throughout Europe, Romania, UAE, China, India, and Thailand. Joe was an avid photographer, folk guitarist, American Sign Language interpreter for the deaf at PBS, and tutored Chinese students in English.
He is survived by his brother, Robert; former wife, Meredith Pasky; former wife, Kathleen Wheeler, and several cousins.
Private burial took place in the family lot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton.
