U.S. VeteranRainelle Roswell-McMillan, 63 of 190 East Quincy St. North Adams, MA died Sunday August 10, 2014 at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Adams, MA on September 14, 1950, daughter of Marcell and Rina (Jasinski) Roswell. She attended Adams schools and graduated from the Adams High School with the class of 1969.
Rainelle was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Air Force for four years. She was the first female air traffic controller at the base in Plattsburgh, NY.
Rainelle was last employed by Sprague Electric Co. She was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. She enjoyed reading and cross-word puzzles. Rainelle was an animal lover.
She was the widow of Robert A. McMillan who died on August 26, 2007. They were married on January 13, 1979.
Survivors include one son- Devin McMillan of East Wareham, MA and one daughter- Victoria Myers of Hutto, Texas; and three grandchildren- Kathleen, Cadence, and Ellieana. She also leaves one brother- Ronald Roswell of Adams and three sisters including Candice Warren of Pittsfield, MA; Rhonda Burdick of Woodford, VT; and Rissa Sawyer of Adams, MA; and nieces and nephews. A brother, Randolph Roswell is deceased. Rainelle's family wants to thank everyone at HospiceCare and Williamstown Commons for their support in her final days.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Rainelle Roswell-McMillan will be held on Sunday September 14, 2014 from 1-3 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Berkshires or the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
