Patricia Ann (Moyer) Freed - 72, of Perkasie, PA; formerly of Blooming Glen, PA entered into Heaven on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center.

She was the loving wife of W. Glenn Freed for 49 years. Patricia was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Robert & Grace (Stauffer) Moyer.

She graduated from Pennridge High School, class of 1959. Patricia was employed as a Meat Cutter in her family business, Blooming Glen Pork Products for over 50 years. She was a member of Calvary Church of Souderton where she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher and a leader of the Pioneer Girls Club. Patricia served on many overseas mission trips preparing meals for the work team, sang in the choir and was active in various church ministries.

She loved spending time with her family & grandchildren and was very active in their lives. Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, and camping with her family & friends. She also enjoyed canning and making homemade applesauce. She loved traveling with her husband seeing the wonders of God’s creation. Patricia enjoyed puzzles and board games. She loved to socialize with others and entertain guests at her house. Patricia also volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kelly L. Daniels & husband, Donald of Quakertown, PA, Trisha F. Roderick & husband, David of Westford, MA; a son, Randolph Scott Freed of Perkasie, PA; six grandchildren – Donnie, Renee, Olivia, Abbie, Rebekah & Nathanael; a sister, Nancy Knapp of Sellersville, PA and a brother, Robert Moyer & wife, Lorraine of Blooming Glen, PA.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 where friends may view and meet with the family from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

Burial will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
