The world lost a very special soul when Edward A. Lee passed away on June 19, 2014 at his home in Riverton, Utah. Ed was born June 19, 1972 in Augusta, Georgia. He grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and lived in Phoenix, Arizona, and Salt Lake City, Utah. Ed attended Clemson University, earned both his Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Brigham Young University, and worked for Microsoft corporate headquarters for 13 years.

Ed was many things:

Caring towards his friends,
Insightful with his humor,
Generous with his laughter,
Passionate about his interests,
Master of all trades,
Genuine with his kindness,
Truly dedicated to his family,
Loving to his wife whom he adored, and, most of all,
Loving and proud of his children who were the light of his life.

Ed’s death is a reminder to cherish the people and the short time we all have on this earth. May he be at peace. Ed will be forever cherished in our hearts.

Ed is survived by his loving wife and best friend Dianna; beautiful daughter Ashlin, compassionate son Alex, and delightful son Sam; mother Betty Ann Arnold Kanne (William), two brothers Robert (Jennifer) Lee, and William (Leah) Kanne, an infinite amount of friends and his two favorite canines, Rosy & Eddy, who all loved him very much. Ed was preceded in death by father, Robert E. Lee and son Andrew Lee.

What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.
