Elisabeth A. Albritton passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Savannah Court in Lake Wales due to pneumonia.
Born September 25, 1919 in Webster, FL; she and her late husband were owners of citrus groves on Old Bartow Road, where they had lived since 1942. She was the secretary and bookkeeper for the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Elisabeth was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Albritton, and a sister, Doris M. Chelette. Survivors include her daughter, Marjorie A. Alder of Lake Wales; sons, James David (Karen) Albritton of Miami, Edwin Arthur (Nita) Albritton of Winter Haven and William Roy (Toni) Albritton of Lake Wales; brother, Roy Adrian (Michelle) Anderson Jr. of Coral Springs; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Hooten officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
