Lynda Lou “Nan” Huffstutler, 75, of Chatham, died Wednesday, June 04, 2014 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born March 8, 1939, in Carbondale, to William and Ruby Simmons Bridwell, who preceded her in death. Her brother, William, also preceded her in death. She married Fred A. Huffstutler in 1964. Lynda was retired and had been a hairstylist and co-owner of Affair with Hair, in Chatham. Lynda was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Fred; children, Terry P. Ulinski of FL, Douglas J. Ulinski, Elizabeth (Marc) Johnson of FL, Vicky Huffstutler, Bruce Huffstutler, Dianne Folder and Tori Gerberding, all of Chatham; grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby, Aaron, Dalton, Samantha, Rachel, Sean, Tory, Hannah, and Jordan; 10 great grandchildren; sister Sara Branson of Chatham, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham, before services.
Her family will greet friends from 2-4pm, Sunday, June 8, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. Memorial service ceremony will follow at 4pm with Paula Staab Polk, funeral celebrant.
