Bessie L. Suiter, age 74, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Tuesday morning, May 6, 2014, at the Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, Missouri.  Bessie was born near Tight Wad, Missouri, on October 26, 1939, the daughter of Harold and Gladys Mickelberry Thompson.

She grew up in Benton County and graduated from Warsaw High School in the class of 1958.  On October 1, 1960 she was united in marriage to Hilton Delane Suiter in Clinton, Missouri.

Following their marriage they made their home near Warsaw.  Unto this union two sons and one daughter were born.  One son, Raydean Suiter preceded her in death in December of 1989.

Bessie had first been employed as a switchboard operator for United Telephone Service in Warsaw.  She then worked at Unitog in Warsaw for over thirty-five years, and had currently been employed as a photo technician for Inter-State Studio and Publishers in Sedalia, Missouri.  She had been a resident at the Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln for the last thirty days.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hilton Suiter in September of 1995 and one son, Raydean Suiter in December of 1989.

She is survived by one son, Rex Suiter, of Warsaw, one daughter, Delania Wright, and her husband, Steve, of Lincoln, Missouri, four grandchildren, Matthew, Lance, Eddie and Jeremey, and one sister, Eleanor Harris, of Springfield, Missouri, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning, May 10, 2014, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.  Burial will be in the Iconium Cemetery in St. Clair County.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning at the funeral home, prior to the funeral services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Community Care Center in care of the funeral home.
