Sallie was born in Peoria on March 1, 1959 to Salvatore and Bernardine Marme Pisano. She was preceded in death by her mother, “Bernie”, on April 14, 2010.
She is survived by her father, Sal, with whom she made her home; her brothers Tony (Ginny) of Germantown Hills and Dominic (Noelle) of Dunlap; her sister Annette Pisano (Jon Gisi) of Custer, South Dakota; nephews Michael Pisano of Indianapolis, Mario (Jessica) Pisano of Chicago, and Nicholas Pisano of Albuquerque; one niece Nicole Pisano of Tampa, FL.

Sallie had a passionate love for all animals, mostly strays that she loved as if they were her children. Her closest canine companions were Kippy, RuAnn, and LadyBug. From the farm animals she helped raise to her dearest pets, they were all given a special name and became part of her extended family.
She had a unique love for her niece and three nephews. They will always remember Aunt Sallie’s threats to give them a “crick bath” or surprise them with a special gift box of “sticks and rocks”.
The family wishes to thank the management and staff of Sam’s Club whom she considered family. In addition, Sallie had numerous devoted friends who loved her unconditionally and supported her in times of need.
She was a friend to all who needed a friend, and had a giving and beautiful heart. She had the gift of making others laugh with her wit, spirit, and sense of humor.
