Fannie L. (Bowling) Chastain, 96, Vincennes, passed away Sunday March 9, 2014 at her residence. Fannie was born August 2, 1917, in Crane, Missouri, the daughter of Frank Robert and Elma Bowling. She married Dallas Chastain and he passed in 2001. She was a homemaker, a very active member of the Lighthouse Four Square Church, and the Huguenot Society.
Fannie is survived by her daughter, Dallasue Carnahan and her husband Bill of Vincennes; grandchildren, William Bradley Carnahan and his companion Alex Boyd of Long Beach, CA and Robert Dale Carnahan and his wife Lynn of Vincennes; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy Kibbey, Sam Kibbey, Jordan Carnahan, Elijah Carnahan, Koty Carnahan, and Logan Carnahan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dallas, and one brother, Robert Bowling.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lighthouse Four Square Church. Funeral services will begin after visitation at 1:00 PM also at the church with Kathey Lakes and Judy Berkstresser officiating. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Four Square Church Building Fund or Good Samaritan Hospice.
