Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Angelina; his sons, Ernie and his wife Susan and Joseph and his wife Marie; his daughter, Mary Ellen Verrico; his grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Tracy Beth, Christopher, Joseph, Christian and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Peter and Jack; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernest's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated by his family.
