Of Chelsea, formerly of Everett, He passed away at his Chelsea home surrounded by his loving Family on Tuesday October 8th. He was 84 years of age. Born and raised in Everett he was the beloved son of the late Antonio and Laura (DeFillippo) DeNisco. Bill attended Everett schools and was graduated from Everett High School where played varsity Football with the Crimson Tide, he was also a member of the “Swan St. Rats” and a longtime member of the Everett “E” Club. He enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1944 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sgt. in 1955. After his discharge He married Salle Montefusco and together they shared 58 years of marriage. They settled in Chelsea raising their family of two sons and one daughter. Bill worked at Raytheon Electronics in Waltham as an equipment mechanic. He retired after 35 years of service. He was known as one of the oldest fans of Everett High Football and most enjoyed time spent with family, friends and his grandchildren.
His Funeral will begin from the Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home 718 Broadway CHELSEA on Friday October 11th, at 9:30 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church 59 Nichols St. Chelsea at 10:30 A.M. Services will conclude with Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Welsh Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 - 8 P.M.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Sabatina “Salle” (Montefusco) DeNisco. Devoted father of William P. “Billy” DeNisco, Jr. and his wife Deena of Everett, John “Jack” DeNisco of Chelsea, Linda Marie Tigges and her husband Thomas of Chelsea. Dear brother of Laura White of Everett, Peter DeNisco of Lynnfield, the late Connie Lapaugh, Mary D’Orlando, Josephine Palmeri, Dorothy D’Amico, Virginia Cataldo and Terry Elios. Cherished brother in law of Virginia “Ginny” Montefusco. Adored grandfather of Tiana Marie DeNisco, Billie DeNisco, Alexa Marie Tigges, Brielle Ann Tigges, Christopher William DeNisco, Jennifer DeNisco, John Sam DeNisco and the late Alicia DeNisco Loved great grandfather of Emilio and Macy Jobert.
