Irene "Renie" Mae Bishop

Irene "Renie" Mae (Kauffman) Bishop - 77, of Schwenksville, PA went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald B. Bishop for 55 years. Renie was born in Norristown, PA to the late Nelson K. & Nellie M. (Staub) Kauffman.

She attended Collegeville-Trappe High School. Renie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked as a receptionist for her late husband’s business, Don Bishop Builder. Renie loved spending time with her family. She was very hospitable and was always entertaining guests. Renie loved to cook and enjoyed watching the food network. She enjoyed flower gardening and mowing the lawn. Renie loved her dogs. She was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church where she served in the church nursery for many years.

Renie is survived by her two daughters, Irene "Renie" Ziegler & husband, Barry of Schwenksville, PA, Donna Anders & husband, Philip of Washington Crossing, PA; her three grandsons, Barry “Bo” Andrew Ziegler & wife, Rebecca of Pennsburg, PA, Brandon Scott Ziegler of Schwenksville, PA, R. Philip Anders II of Washington Crossing, PA; her granddaughter, Alicia Lee Anders of Washington Crossing, PA; her two great-grandsons, Chase Andrew & Kaden Steele Ziegler, both of Pennsburg, PA and her brother-in-law, John W. Trauch, Sr. of Emmaus, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Trauch.

Burial will take place on Tuesday at 9:30am at Limerick Garden of Memories.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:30 am at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438 where friends may meet with the family from 10:30am – 11:30am.
