Gary W. Meyer, age71, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away on July 23, 2013. He was born on April 21, 1942, in Boonville, Missouri, the son of B.W. Meyer and Ruby Alice Mixer.
He grew up in Bunceton, Missouri and graduated from Bunceton High School. After high school he enlisted into the United States Air Force.
He was united in marriage to Nadine Small on August 14, 1971 in Bunceton, Missouri. They made their home in Kansas City, where he worked as a mechanic for TWA until his retirement at the age of 55. After he retired, they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area of Climax Springs. Two years ago, they moved to their home in Warsaw, Missouri.
He was a member of the Wallace Masonic Lodge #456 AF & AM in Bunceton, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Meyer.
He is survived by his wife Nadine, of the home, 3 children, Butch Larimore, and his wife Tammy, of Blue Springs, Missouri, Stacy Cathey, and her husband, Cam, of Oak Grove, Missouri and Lisa Weidmaier of Metuchen, New Jersey, 4 grandchildren, Randi, Levi (Amber), Alex and Jessi, one great-grandchild, Austin, 2 nephews, Darren and Mark Meyer, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services for Gary Meyer will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 2:00 pm, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made payable to the American Cancer Society or the Benton County Hospice, c/o Reser Funeral Home, P.O. Box 910, Warsaw, Missouri 65355.
