Felix Calvo Boydstun of Fort Worth (formerly of Sanger) passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 in Fort Worth at the age of 87. He was born on June 1, 1926 in Sanger to Ben Butler and Gaytha (Wylie) Boydstun.
He was a graduate of Sanger High School and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. On January 16, 1945, he married Bette J. Taylor. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. He then went to work with General Dynamics as a data processor. He was a member of the Bridgewood Church of Christ in Fort Worth.
The family will celebrate his life with a memorial service to be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Bridgewood Church of Christ, 6516 Brentwood Stair Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 68 years, Bette of Fort Worth; a daughter, Shelley Burns of Fort Worth, and a son, Joe Ben Boydstun; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evangeline Meyers.
