Marilyn M. Kaiser, 70, of Pequannock, passed away on June 27, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born in Jersey City, Marilyn was the daughter of William and Margaret (Mitsch) Klaus. She grew up and attended high school in Lyndhurt where she met the love of her life, Kent Kaiser, and the two were later married on September 6, 1964. Marilyn was very active in Holy Spirit Church in Pequannock and was a Eucharistic Minister and part of the Rosary Society. She loved making crafts and being a grandmother, looking forward to each visit with her grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Kent; her sons, Kevin and his wife Stephanie and Brian and his wife Lisa; her daughter, Susan Wild and her husband Scott; her brother, Frederick Mitsch; and her grandchildren, Paige, Michael, Derek, Darren and Andrew. She was predeceased by her brother, William G. Klaus.
A funeral Mass will be held 10 am Tuesday, July 2 at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, Pompton Plains. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.
